“My need was to get a vehicle from Richmond, VA to Chicago, Illinois by Monday. I contacted Krissie of High End Transport on Friday after having called and left messages for several other car haulers. Most still haven’t called back. One promised to call back within an hour, but still hasn’t.
Krissie responded immediately and promised to identify a driver, negotiate to have the vehicle delivered on the date I needed and get back to me with confirmation. She called back promptly to ensure me she had a drived who would pick up my vehicle Saturday and deliver to Chicago on Monday. She said she offered the driver an extra incentive to ensure it would be delivered on time. She also arranged for an 8 hour call ahead before pick up to give me the estimated time the driver would arrive.
When the driver arrived to pick the vehicle up, he informed me he was going to get the vehicle to Chicago Sunday night between 6-8 PM. The commitment for early arrival exceeded my expectations and agreement. It was beneficial because my concern with Monday delivery, was the potential conflict with delivery and recipients work schedule. Sunday night was perfect!
In all honesty, when I called High End Transport on Friday, I never expected they or anyone could get the vehicle picked up Friday or Saturday and deliver Monday. They promised they would but to deliver Sunday… Wow!

“My truck, though wrecked and drivable, needed to be rebuilt. Being my baby, and myself in the military, I didn’t want to wait to restore it when I got out of active duty, so I had it sent. The company was very understanding and needed only measurements of the truck as it is oversized from stock. They worked to get me early transport and kept me updated on every notice asap. The only thing I have to say is whoever the driver was they found so early, I didn’t like. I didn’t let his problems affect the review on account that he is not directly working for this company, but my truck, my baby with thousands invested, had 1.8 miles extra on the odometer (very strange for a wrecked, totaled body truck only going from trailer to trailer) and all my change, which was at least 20 bucks in quarters and dimes, was stolen out of my ashtray.
Whoever the driver was didn’t speak very good English either, and had trouble shifting his 1-ton dodge down the road. pretty easy trucks to drive. If I would have been home when he dropped it off I would have confronted him, but it was only my girlfriend at home. High End, however, is a great company and I would love to use them again. October 2009 Sandra: I used High-End Transport to ship our two cars from CA to FL. Scheduled pick-up dates were about two weeks apart and service was provided by two different carriers. Both trucks were early or on-time at both ends, with no problems. If I ever need to ship a car in the future, I will definitely call Ernie at High-End Transport.”

Overall, for an industry that i would say has many lackluster companies providing services, High-end stands out like a diamond in the rough. Their price was competitive especially for a CA-to-Fl, cross-country transport.

“My car was available Saturday at noon. I called in the day before and it was picked up in Houston on Saturday afternoon. It was then delivered to me on Monday Afternoon in northern San Diego. I transported a Maserati and Angel took great care of me and my car. I cannot believe how fast it arrived. The truck was delivered friday afternoon right to our doorstep with no problems other than needing a little car wash from the cross country trip. November 2009 Larry:The shipping of the MG TD parts car was the second MG I had shipped through High end Transport in the past 14 months. As to the parts car, they promptly responded to my inquires, gave me a reasonable quote ($800), kept me informed of the progress of the car’s pick-up, dealt with payment issues graciously, hired the right guys to do the actual pick-up, transporting and delivery, and did not do any damage to the car.
The other MG TD that I had earlier shipped with High End Transport also went very smoothly. That car was in really good shape, but I decided to ship it from Oregon to NYS on an open carrier because I was trying to save some money. The car came through it with absolutely no damage, so on both of these shipments I have no claim handling experiences.

From initial call to pickup went pretty fast and they were ready to pick it up before the seller had it fully wrapped-up for delivery. For me, I’m really not to concerned with how fast I get the car, rather with what happens to it during the transportation. On both occasions the actual shippers were Russians who were careful and worked hard. If I were to ship again, I think I would want to know what kind of platform the MG would be resting on. The wheel base of the MG TD is very narrow, and I could see when they took it off the truck how careful they had to be to make sure that each of the MG’s tires stayed on the wider tracks of the carrier. It’s kind of hard to describe that, but they did a good job.”

January 2009:I am pleased to say that once the driver “Roman” was assigned to deliver my car to Orlando, things began to move quickly….prompt pickup and on time delivery. I am glad that I did have a cover on my car as some Mercedes over head leaked some oil. Noe got on my paint, so all is well. The cheap car cover cost me $45.00 and was worth every penny of it.
